Start! Heart walk logo

Start! Heart Walk
Start! Heart Walk is our signature fund-raising event. Held in more than 600 cities and towns across the country, Start! Heart Walks promote physical activity, good nutrition and heart-healthy living in a fun, family environment. The events focus on preventing heart disease and stroke by raising money to support research and educational and community programs. More than 1 million walkers participate each year.

Jump Rope for Heart
Sponsored by the American Heart Association and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD), Jump Rope For Heart is an educational, fund-raising event held every year in thousands of elementary schools throughout America. Proceeds are used to fund research and community and educational programs.

Go Red for Women
Known by its red dress symbol, Go Red for Women began in February 2004 to raise awareness that heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women. The year-round educational campaign unites consumers, corporations, opinion leaders and the medical community to encourage women to take charge of their heart health, make it a top priority and live a stronger, longer life.
